Lost Clarinet Music of Women Composers
Historically, music publishers disproportionately ignored the music of women composers. Consequently, an unknown number of manuscripts have fallen into obscurity. The following women reportedly composed music for the clarinet, but the locations of their manuscripts are unknown. It is my hope that one day, these scores will materialize in full, for the benefit of clarinetists everywhere.
